Snuffy is visible?

When did Snuffy become visible to everyone else on Sesame Street? Did they just decide they were encouraging kids to use their imaginations too much by having imaginary friends? Just strange to me. No one is supposed to be able to see Snuffy!!

    I remember Snuffy, but only as his visible self… I guess I started watching the show too late.

    Whadda ya’ know? Hmm. I was well past Sesame Street age by then, so I guess that’s why it caught me off guard. (And trying my best to avoid babysitting anyone!!) Not sure what I think. How dare they make changes!! :-)
