This is really more of a Muppets-related post than Sesame Street, but it involves Kermit, so it counts. 
Kermit and the rest of the Muppets gang will be a part of Studio DC: Almost Live premiering July 19 at 8 pm ET on Disney. (In case you didn’t know, Disney bought the Muppets several years ago. It’s almost like they’re just remembering they had them in the closet.)
Kermit gets to do a duet of “Bop to the Top” with Ashley Tisdale. (Photo on Kermit’s page.) Not entirely sure what I think about that. Just can’t quite see Kermit holding his own in a duet with her. But hopefully I’ll be pleasantly surprised. (Yes, I’m going to watch it. Or at least Tivo it and fast forward a lot.)

Cool, I love Kermit and The Muppets.
My favorite character was Rowlf though, or Animal - so based on Keith Moon (drummer for The Who).
Can’t say I find Sesame Street anything less than annoying though… Now Fraggle Rock - that was a GREAT show too… Did anyone do a lens on Fraggle Rock yet?

I’m pretty sure there’s a lens on Fraggle Rock. I seem to remember seeing it once, maybe because I was thinking about doing one. But it’s been a while.

OK, I didn’t lie, but the one lens that I found that was Fraggle Rock related was kind of lame. http://www.squidoo.com/fragglerock Seriously, how do you have a Fraggle Rock lens and not at least have the theme song on there?
So Tony, you want to run with it? You mentioned it, so I don’t want to run with a ball you’d like to have. I was thinking about doing a video showcase with the various episodes on there along with stuff to sell. Might actually be a nice complement to a proper lens that detailed info on the specific characters, history, etc. Want to team up?

Found a second - also lame - when I searched for just fraggle. http://www.squidoo.com/fraggle-rock Lame. Obviously just did the magic-build and that’s it. One definite strike against magic-build. Didn’t even use the keyword “fraggle rock” apparently. Sigh.
