You’re never to old for a Sesame Street shirt!!

And thank goodness!! I tracked down all kinds of Sesame Street shirts for this lens – from infant sizes to adult. They’re sorted by character right now. Maybe eventually I’ll sort further by child/adult sizes. There’s an orange Cookie Monster one that I used to have and some cute Abby Cadabby ones I wish came in adult sizes.

My one issue so far is that I can only find one shirt for Grover. What is up with that? Seriously – no Super Grover shirts at least? What are they thinking? I was very sad and will continue the hunt, but amazed that it’s proving to require hunting. Really.

UPDATE: Tons of shirts for Grover now!!!

Snuggle up with Sesame Street bedding, blankets and more

Another in my series of bedding lenses, this one on Sesame Street bedding. Which was kind of a weird trip. You’d expect there to be more Sesame Street stuff in this category – Elmo sheets and so forth. Kind of skimpy on the gear though. It seems they’re phasing out the Elmo stuff you see here, but I haven’t seen where they’re working in a replacement yet. I’m really surprised there isn’t an Abby Cadabby comforter at a minimum. But still, there were all kinds of cool things like an Elmo chair that giggles, awesome clocks and 14,000 different wallpaper borders.

Sesame Street songs – take a trip down memory lane

Do you remember Fuzzy and Blue (and Orange)? Maybe Doin’ the Pigeon was your favorite. And who could forget I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon or I Love Trash?

Whatever your favorite Sesame Street song, it’s likely been released on a CD. I’ve featured those CDs, along with videos and lyrics over on a new lens. It’s the latest in my line of Sesame Street-related lenses, a niche I would never have guessed for myself. Anyway, if you have some time to kill, come on over and have a sing-along time with your favorite Sesame Street songs.

Kermit has a new PSA – the Year of the Frog

New PSA Kermit does with Selena Gomez of Disney fame. (Wow. They’re really starting to milk the Disney/Muppet connections now.) Just added it to my Kermit page, but here you go.

Cookie Monster defends himself on Colbert

This is probably ancient given the fact that I’ve never seen it. :-) But it just cracked me up. In case you aren’t in the Sesame Street loop, Cookie Monster has “found religion” a bit and now preaches that cookies are a sometimes food. Nothing against that myself, but I don’t like that they sand off all the edges. The Colbert Report took Cookie Monster to task and he showed up to defend himself. Funny, funny!

Sesame Street birthday blog has landed

OK, I know, this makes 9 blogs I have going now (miscounted in something else I wrote earlier). I’m insane. Utterly insane. But I really like Sesame Street stuff. So I’d like to introduce you to my new blog – Sesame Street Birthday. I even graduated to the big time and got my own domain this time. Woo-hoo! Anyway, I’ll be having some fun over there now in addition to this guy. But I have got to get a life.

Now joining my Sesame Street crew – Zoe!!

It’s about time I added a few more characters to my niche of Sesame Street characters. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, but it’s tough with some of the more minor characters because there isn’t a lot of information out there about them. But I’ve gotten started today on Sesame Street’s Zoe monster, Elmo’s orange friend. She needs a bit more content really, but I always believe in leaving room for improvement. :-)

And, yes, I’m quite pleased with myself for getting a new lens started and published while trying to keep up with everything else I’m doing with the 30DC.

New Sesame Street website is up and running

Visit the Sesame Street Store Today!Have you been to the new Sesame Street website? Oh, my. It’s still in beta, but it’s pretty amazing. And it should be. They spent two years and $14 million making this thing. Yes, you read that right. $14 million!! Yikes! You have got to check out Neil Patrick Harris as the shoe fairy in the video section. That dude can sing!

They have lots of classic videos as well as new stuff. You can watch by character, theme, songs, etc. There’s lots of games and they have special playlists for particular days that highlight games and videos for that particular day. Today was Happy Feliz Day. Yes, happy happy day. :-) It’s Sesame Street, folks.

New Abby Cadabby outfits and shirts available

I just added a bunch of new clothing options to my Abby Cadabby lens. Danged if they don’t have just the cutest things over at the Sesame Street Store! I wonder when they’ll start putting Abby on adult sized stuff. Hmm.
